To meet market demand, REnergyWare has developed professional hardware packages that meet or exceed the varied needs of today’s large scale RE generation systems.
Main Communications Enclosures
Communications – At the heart of every data acquisition (DAS) or SCADA system resides a robust, fast and reliable data network. Whether that data travels over optical fiber, copper wires or wirelessly via radio, the network must function consistently and dependably. Our Data Intel communications products include industrial grade networking hardware, robust power supplies and a wide range of accessories and adapters to meet any communications challenge that may arise.
Basic Communications Enclosure includes a NEMA 4 20x20x10 steel enclosure with Single Latch, Cell Modem w/Bracket RV-50X and Cell Antenna.
Also includes 5-port copper Ethernet Switch, REnergyWare Data Logger, 120Vac Power Supply to 24VDC – 60 Watt.
Standard Communications Enclosure includes a NEMA 4 24x20x10 steel enclosure with Single Latch, Cell Modem w/Bracket RV-55X and Cell Antenna.
Also includes 8-port copper Ethernet Switch, REnergyWare Data Logger, Edge connectivity PC (Intel Processor w/ 8GB RAM), 120Vac Power Supply to 24VDC – 150 Watt.
Enhanced Communications Enclosure includes a NEMA 4 24x20x10 steel enclosure with Single Latch, Cell Modem w/Bracket RV-55X (???) and Cell Antenna.
Also includes 8-port Moxa Ethernet Switch, REnergyWare Data Logger, Edge connectivity PC (Intel Processor w/ 8GB RAM), 120Vac Power Supply to 24VDC – 240 Watt, and a 20A UPS controller with 12 Ahr battery pack.
Weather – All renewable energy production systems are weather dependent, so having accurate and timely meteorological data is critical to the operation of every site. To provide the customers desired level of insight, we provide a standard Weather Enclosure systems, which when coupled with the one or more of the MET sensor options, will provide all necessary meteorological information. This enclosure is designed to operate under all weather conditions utilizing a NEMA 4 enclosure with enclosed hardware ready to be connected to a wide variety of available sensors with varying degrees of accuracy and output types.
Standard Meteorological Enclosure includes a NEMA 4 16x14x8 steel enclosure with Single Latch, and IPC-DAS Hub.
Also includes Power and RS-485 from Network enclosure, and field quick connect connections.
Network Communications Enclosures
Network– All renewable energy network enclosures provide the inter-connectivity between points and ensure network security. These would include routers, network switches, cell modems and antennas, and firewalls for the total network topology.
Basic Network Enclosure includes a NEMA 4 20x20x10 steel enclosure with Single Latch, and 5 port Moxa network switch.
Also includes 120VAC to 24VDC, 60 Watt Power Supply.
Standard Network Enclosure includes a NEMA 4 24x20x12 steel enclosure with Single Latch, and 8 port Moxa network switch.
Also includes Modbus/TCP Adapter and 120VAC to 24VDC, 150 Watt Power Supply.
Enhanced Network Enclosure includes a NEMA 4 24x20x12 steel enclosure with Single Latch, and 8 port Moxa network switch.
Also includes Modbus/TCP Adapter and 120VAC to 24VDC, 240 Watt Power Supply, 20Amp UPS Controller w/ communication and a 12Ah battery pack.
Other Options and Add-ons
This package option provides an upgrade from the copper network included in the standard packages to a fiber connection for increased speeds and to minimize risk of electrical surges when using outdoor copper wires. This option includes the upgraded network switch, 24″ trough for fiber wire management, and SM attenuators.
This optional package includes the Wireless Ethernet Communications adapter to any Main Communications or Network Enclosure. Based on proven Ubiquiti 5 GHz Ethernet standards, the wireless option is fast, reliable and can solve difficult communications issues when fiber or copper cabling is not an effective option. Includes mounting mast, POE power system and 20′ long wet location Ethernet cable for radio to Ethernet switch connection.
REW-UPS-21 to -32
This option include a battery based UPS System sized depending on required run times and it’s powered by the network enclosure. Includes the ability to remotely monitor the UPS and battery to ensure long life and performance.
REW-MET-SEN-01 to -12
Multiple optional MET packages and sensors are available to measure weather conditions including horizontal solar irradiance, plane of array irradiance, back of module temperature, ambient temperature, wind, etc.
